Martin Tauber - commitment and experience
Born in 1956, Martin Tauber started to study mechanical engineering in 1976. In 1980 he changed to the Faculty of Architecture and in 1984 completed his studies with great success.
For two years he worked in architects' offices in Germany and then for a further two years he worked in engineering consultancies and with metal construction firms for facade projects in various European countries.
Equipped with this experience, Martin Tauber founded his own engineering consultancy for facade technology in Offenbach am Main, which was converted to a limited company (GmbH) in 2000. In 2005 he renamed his company "Tauber Engineering" to reflect its increasing international aspect.
After almost two decades in the construction and facade field, Martin Tauber can look back on hundreds of successfully concluded projects. He not only kept pace with the complete change of working tools in this period, but he himself took active part: Specially for facade construction, Tauber developed the CAD software application "ATHENA" for AutoCAD, now marketed via the company CAD-PLAN which was founded in 1990.
Martin Tauber's speciality is creative solutions for tricky problems. His ideas and developments have contributed to the extraordinary technological progress registered in facade technology in recent years and which will also continue in the future. His experience and expertise make him an internationally recognised expert in his field.
To establish the professional and employment field of "Facade technology planning", Martin Tauber, together with 23 professional colleagues, founded the Association for Facade Technology (Verband für Fassadentechnik, VFT) and became its president three years later.
To cover the long-term personnel demands of his own company, but also with the social commitment of providing young people with first class training and a promising apprenticeship, Tauber trains specialists for metal construction technology at the professional academy in Mosbach.
Susanne Richter - expert and versatile
The professional career of Susanne Richter, born in 1980, has been linked from the beginning with Tauber Engineering. In 2000 the high-school graduate decided on a course of study in facade technology at the Cooperative State University Mosbach and with the then Tauber Engineering Consultants found a committed mentor for the practical part of her education.
After receiving her excellent results in 2003 the new diploma-qualified engineer continued working at Tauber where she was involved with the engineering and development of facades. In December of the same year she also took on the responsibility for the flixo finite element software from the affiliated company CAD-PLAN GmbH. Now Susanne Richter presents the program at national and international fairs and is responsible for the support and training of customers.
It was not only her technical ability, but also her knowledge of foreign languages which predestined her for her next task in 2004. She became project manager for international projects which took her all the way to China. In 2005 she worked increasingly on thermal building physics and set up an internal competence center for this.
Since January 2006 Susanne Richter has been a managing partner at Tauber Engineering GmbH. The scope of her work mainly covers international business, company public relations and the personnel field.
She personally strengthens the management through her distinctive conceptional capabilities, her creativity in implementing subtle Tauber solutions and with her keen eye for organizational and commercial requirements. And not to forget her charm and sense of feeling for customers as people.
Christian Götz - diligence with vision
Christian Götz was born in 1971 in Würzburg where he undertook an apprenticeship as Technical Draftsman from 1987 to 1991. After that he enrolled at the Bavaria College in Schweinfurt and passed his high school certificate in 1995. Then, as also during the following study period, he was frequently able to practice the vocation he had learned. It was on such an internship in 1998 that he first came into contact with facade and metal construction.
In 1999 Christian Götz again opted for full-time employment as a Technical Draftsman which led him to a metal construction company in Mainz. In parallel to this, he trained for four years at the employee academy, DAA-Technikum, as a technician in metal construction.
In 2002 Christian Götz moved to the then Tauber Engineering Consultants. Here, he learned not only how to work with the drawing software AutoCAD and Athena, but also everything he needed for the structured design of facades.
Armed with this knowledge and the title of State-Approved Metal Construction Technician, Christian Götz became Property Manager in a metal construction company in 2003. In 2005 he became self-employed and with his planning office took on the implementation planning and work scheduling for renowned metal construction companies, such as Haskamp GmbH. Also, he frequently worked for Tauber Engineering as a subcontractor.
In 2011 Christian Götz accepted the offer of becoming a partner and member of the management at Tauber Engineering. Here, he primarily deals with the management of large-volume projects.
With Christian Götz farsightedness comes with care and meticulousness as well as a passion for really good technical solutions. In this way he is a valuable asset to Tauber Engineering and one who takes pleasure in shouldering a share of the responsibility for the future of the company.
